As an artist, I am a cultural healer.

Through my creative process, I bring into view distressing and difficult issues often hidden and silenced in our society and our world.

My own healing journey through life has enabled me to combine my life's work as a mental health therapist with my artistic expression. The synthesis of my artistic process has taken the form of Integrative Collage, a style I created and use in my painting where the individual parts of my main subject-matter are blended into a unified, organic whole.

I utilize a bold color palette with acrylic paint, which gives my work a strong, vibrant, impactful presence.

My goal is to encourage those who experience my work to face these difficult issues with humane and collaborative solutions, rather than by using suppression, domination or normalizing injustice. My aim is for the viewer to imagine positive ways of working in partnership with people of every gender, culture and experience to mend the broken parts of our world.
